Richardson Robertson III is the recipient of the “Stars of Design 2003,” a Los Angeles honor given to such architects as Frank Gehry, Charles Moore and Frank Israel.
A recent project has won “Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres” (Knights of the Order of the Arts and Literature), France’s highest cultural award with past recipients including Picasso, Matisse and Manet.
Richardson Robertson III’s New Beaux Arts concept inspired his 65-story downtown L.A. hotel project, now on the drawing board, and the topic of his new book, The Future of Classicism
